Stephen offers 20+ years of professional experience in international media and entertainment law and transactional business and legal affairs for film, television, new media, intellectual property and advertising clients. Prior to and following becoming a lawyer he has worked domestically and abroad in feature film production, financing and distribution on a range of award winning projects.

 

Stephen has worked in New York and Los Angeles as a lawyer beginning his career at Loeb and Loeb, working for several years at one of the largest entertainment law firms, Grubman Indursky & Shire before branching off more than ten years ago establishing his own media and entertainment firm based in New York. He serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (one of the largest acting and affiliated arts conservatories in the United States), and is a voting member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). He studied at Harvard School of Law and Oxford University, and holds a J.D. and B.A. from Columbia University in the City of New York.
